    • What is the location of the festival?
      Raks Glam Festival 2024 takes place in Krakow, Poland. Our venue is NCK – Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury / Nowa Huta Cultural Center (al. Jana Pawła II 232, 31-913 Krakow, Poland). Please check LOCATION subpage for the detailed information.
    • Are workshops and competition in the same place?
      Yes. Workshops, Competition, Open Stage and Saturday Gala Show are held in the same location.
    • Can you recommend me some accommodation options?
      We cooperate with the nearest hotel from the venue (~300m) - Hotel Centrum Business. Hotel is fully booked for our Full Pass holders and the information on how to book your room + special discount will be sent right after the registration to everyone who has purchased the Full Pass. Other hotels not far from the venue: Ibis Styles Krakow East, Hotel Justyna We recommend you to check www.booking.com and www.airbnb.com for a lot of interesting options nearby.

    • Will there be Single Workshops or Day Passes available to purchase?
      No, the only option to take part in workshops is to buy FULL PASS. There will be no Single Workshops or Day Passes available to purchase.
    • Can kids join the workshops?
      No, our workshops are intended for adults.
    • Will there be private classes with the teachers?
      All information about the possible private classes will be announced at a later date.

    • What is the deadline to join the Competition & Open Stage?
      Competition & Open Stage registration will be closed on 11th of August 2023.
    • What is the deadline to send the music for the Competition & Open Stage?
      The deadline to send the music is 11th August 2023. All participants who do not provide the music within this date will be removed from the participants list.
    • What is the time limit for the Competition song?
      The maximum length of a song for all categories is 3 minutes. All songs exceeding the limit will be automatically cut to 3 minutes.
    • What is the time limit for the Open Stage song?
      The maximum length of a song for the Open Stage is 3 minutes and 30 seconds. All songs exceeding the limit will be automatically cut to 3 minutes to 30 seconds.
    • What is the age limit to join the Competition & Open Stage?
      Our Competition & Open Stage is intended for adults and all participants will be judged in the competition as adults. There are no kids categories and children are not allowed to join the Competition (or Open Stage).
    • Is there any rehearsal for the Competition & Open Stage participants?
      Yes, the stage will be available for all the Competition & Open Stage participants around 1h before the Competition starts each day. All detailed information will be provided before the festival to the participants.
    • What is the difference between Friday and Saturday Open Stage?
      Friday Open Stage is open level. It will take place after the Friday competition, before the results. It is intented for Beginners & Semi-Pro solo dancers and small groups (up to 4 members). It will be held on the Small Stage. Saturday Open Stage is intended for Professional solo dancers and bigger groups (up to 20 members!). It will take place as a part of the main Saturday event, right before the Saturday Gala Show. It will be held on the Main Stage.
    • Can groups dance on the Open Stage?
      Yes, of course. We encourage groups to join our Open Stage. However, Friday Open Stage is intended for smaller groups only (up to 4 members).
    • I have a Full Pass but I do not participate in the Competition. Do I have to buy the ticket to watch it?
      No, your Full Pass includes the ticket for the Friday Competition as well as the Saturday Competition & Gala Show.
    • Will Competition & Open Stage be recorded?
      Yes, the professional videos of all performances will be available to purchase right after the festival. All detailed information will be provided to all of the participants.
    • Will there be professional photos taken during the performances?
      Yes, the professional photos from all performances will be available to purchase right after the festival. All detailed information will be provided to all of the participants at a later date.
  • RAKS GLAM 2024 - RETURNS
    • I cannot come. Can I return the Full Pass and get the refund?
      No, Full Pass is non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation. However, we allow you to resell your spot. In that case please provide us via email the new participant personal data (Name, Country and Email address). The deadline to do so is 6th September 2024.
    • Can I resign from the Competition or Open Stage performance?
      Yes, you can resign at any time. Just provide us the information via email and we will remove you from the participants list. Please be aware that Competition Entry Fee is non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation.
